Did you
know that Florida law requires you to update the address on your driver license
within 10 days after moving? It's easy. Choose the method most convenient
for you!
Selecting
one of the options above to change your address will save you time and money.
The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV)
in Tallahassee will mail you a new license if a digital
image is on file. If your license is an older laminated version, the DHSMV will mail you
a sticker to place on the reverse side of your current license.
The fee to
change your address by mail is $25. Additional fees apply for telephone
and online services where credit cards are accepted.
The fee to
change your address in our office is $31.25.
Our office does not accept credit card payments.
Avoid waiting in line and save money. Change
your Driver License address by mail or online.
Under Florida law, e-mail addresses are
public records. If you do not want your e-mail address released in
response to a public-records request, do not send electronic mail to this
entity. Instead, contact this office by phone or in writing.
