Hiring Procedures

The Hillsborough County Civil Service Office conducts the recruitment for all classified positions in the Tax Collector's Office. Civil Service posts the details of all listed positions, accepts applications and gives all necessary examinations. Applications are only accepted when a vacancy exists.

Applications are accepted by Civil Service during the following hours:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday:  7:30 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. 

Civil Service is closed on Wednesdays.
